What are we grateful for?  We are grateful there are so many great stories around the passion and pastime of fishing.  Family traditions and the number of parents bringing their kids is awesome!  Sometimes it amazes us when we hear the stories.  The different reasons groups get together and create memorable experiences enjoying the outdoors.  Sometimes it’s all part of one family, sometimes its neighborhood friends, sometimes its college buddies bringing their kids, and for one family this year, it was their 80th year of annual trips to Lake of the Woods.

More excellent fishing this past week!  We heard many personal bests for biggest Walleye and Sturgeon.  There has been great success in the river as well as on the lake.  No need to travel far this year.

The forecast for the week is 20’s to 50’s, with mostly between 30 and 40.  Don’t forget to bring your quality rain gear and warm clothes.

Are you looking for some space for a groups from 4-18 people this winter.  Check out Settlers Point.   www.settlerspoint.com  We have some availability for groups that want to be close to all the action but have a quiet place to stay overnight.
