Lake of the Woods Original Weekly Fishing Report!
It was a great week of fishing on Lake of the Woods

It was a great week of fishing on Lake of the Woods. The weather was beautiful all week long, despite the threat of rain earlier in the week.
Knight, Bridges and Garden Island areas have been producing trophy walleyes and lots of ‘em. Pink and gold or “bubble gum” have been the “hot” jigs in 20 to 30 feet of water. Fishing has also been very good on the south end with plenty of eaters and quite a few big ones mixed in. Just outside of Lighthouse Gap in 20 to 28 feet has been very good. Most anglers are anchoring and jigging with shiners, but a few are having luck drifting, or trolling, with spinners and crawlers.
Highs will be in the 70s this week with lots of sunshine with some chance for showers as we head to the weekend. Should be an excellent time to hit the lake!
