The great fishing continues!

The great fishing continues!  Most of the week our charters focused in areas near reefs along the Border of Big Traverse.  There was also great success in Little Traverse along the NW Angle from Garden Island and past Little Oak, additionally the guides were hitting schools in Big Traverse around the Long Point area.  It seems the most popular question of the week is how many fish are being caught each day, I don’t know the specific answer, but it is a lot.  Many nice keepers in the 18-19 inch range, with fresh meals while you are here and limits to go home.

There have been a schools of Walleye and Sauger about 4 miles out of the Lighthouse Gap.  Many private boats have been anchoring and jigging this school and having nice limits in a short amount of time.

It looks like more of the same weather for the week ahead, highs into the 80’s and lows in 50’s.  This past week was excellent weather, especially for working outside.  We are still finishing up some outside projects before fall hits and appreciate the great temps and low humidity.

Our winter rates are posted on the website.  Book now to get your pick of dates.

There is still major road construction in Baudette.  The bridge is now open and traffic is diverted through town on side streets. The impact is minimal unless you really need to be on main street in town.
