The weather plays a big part in our season! The forecast ahead shows lots of warm temps coming this next week. Which means, we are starting to haul sleepers off the ice today. We still have all our day houses out and will keep our Facebook updated with any changes to the day houses.

Once again not a lot of change this week, still marking fish steadily, it seems to be enticing them enough to bite is the trick. Keep those jigging lines active, it’s key to drawing the fish in and having better success. The last few days we have seen some nice size walleye caught and released, which is a great!

We are still located from Pine Island out to about 2 ½ miles in 18-29 feet of water.  Which has allowed us take advantage of the early and late bites along the shoreline.

We start the week warm with temps in the mid 40’s. Wednesday looks to be the lowest in temps at 35 degrees. However, by Friday the temperatures will be in the 50’s. We will keep everyone posted on ice conditions throughout the week.
