Lake of the Woods Original Weekly Fishing Report!

Depending on the method, depths of water are changing.

We have been keeping it mixed up this past week.  Combinations of drifting, jigging and rigging have proved successful again.  We did have a couple days of strong wind this past week which changed some of the success on those days.  There is still a great bite going on and we have covered areas of the lake from Archie’s reef to Little Oak Island and just outside the Lighthouse Gap.

Depending on the method, depths of water are changing.  The sand shelfs are great for drifting when the wind is right.  Anchoring on or around some of the rock piles or rigging in the 28 plus feet of water has been doing well.

We continue to have great temperatures forecasted with high into the 80’s and lows into the 50’s for the week ahead.

Our winter rates are posted on the website.  Book now to get your pick of dates.

There is still major road construction in Baudette, traffic is diverted south of town. The impact is minimal unless you really need to be on main street in town.
