Guided charter fishing for Walleye and Sauger is offered Spring, Summer
& Fall in our 27' Sportscrafts (max. 6 per boat).. Professional guides
and bait included in the packages. Our guides are all Coast Guard Licensed
Captains.
Sturgeon, Northern Pike & Small Mouth Bass are best caught in areas
not accessible by launch. We recommend Cooper’s Guide Service to set you
up on these adventures. |

Although jigging
and down rigging are the predominant methods of fishing
Walleye, the guides and customers at Border View Lodge have
a great deal of fun and success slip bobber fishing on the
reefs. |
Personal Guide Service Provided By:
Many of our customers prefer to fish from
their own boats. Take advantage of our new 26 slip marina and full
service docks. Bait & Gas available. An Indian legend says
that you can take a crazy man, tie him to a tree facing a river,
and he will be sane in 48 hours....so.... kick back and relax on
our 2,000 square foot deck overlooking the scenic Rainy River.
Border View Lodge also offers full menu and bar service on the
deck during the summer months.

| Starting
with late September through ice on, the Rainy River and Four
Mile Bay on the south side of Lake of the Woods experience a
shiner run. The Walleyes follow the shiners into the Rainy
River providing excellent Walleye concentrations. This is
some of the best Walleye fishing, close- in, of the season.

Ice fishing
packages include your transportation, fish house, &
bait. Poles are available to rent if you do not have your
own. -The ice fishing season runs from early December
through March for Walleye and Sauger. The best Northern
Trophy Pike fishing is February and March. All tip-ups
supplied by Border View Lodge. |

Introducing
Haaglunds BV206 amphibious personnel carrier.
These units are made to go through anything
especially snow. Built
in Sweden and used by the military in the artic the BV206
cannot be compared to the Bombers.
Completely
floatable! A
boat- like underbody, solid rubber tracks and no skis make
these units unique. All
four tracks driving the machine and the rugged suspension
system make the ride smoother than traditional track rigs.
The 6- cylinder Ford motor with a geared up
transmission also make these machines go like no other.

SNOWMOBILING
Snowmobiling is excellent in the Lake of the Woods area
during February and March. Lake of the Woods has hundreds of
miles of connected snowmobiling trails that are new, well
groomed, and the scenery will take your breath away. Trails
across the Lake, link to the Northwest Angle and the Can-Am
and International Trails.
